This is a great opportunity to develop a multitude of Administrative skills in a dynamic and forward thinking organisation. You will receive excellent training and mentoring, whilst working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. Full training will be provided on the job and by Oldham College.

Duties include:

  • Preparing Court bundles
  • Filing
  • Copying – in order of priority of work to be done
  • Checking and loading printers and copiers with paper on a daily basis
  • Archiving and retrieving archived files - when necessary
  • Preparing trial bundles – this must always be prioritised over filing, faxing and photocopying
  • Keeping correct record of archived files and deeds – when required
  • Reception duties to relieve full time receptionist for lunch, illness, holidays and comfort breaks (training will be given)
  • Make teas and coffees when asked for visitors
  • Tidy the stationery area and surrounding photocopying area
  • Collecting the post from each room in the afternoon and putting the same in envelopes ready to be franked and posted or taken to the Document Exchange.
  • Collecting all post which require cheques being attached and give them to the Managing Director to be signed and ready for posting.
  • Stock take and prepare a list for stationery, print cartridges and consumables required for the office
  • Prepare items for recycling regularly and place them in the recycling container on the premises
  • This list of duties is not exhaustive and you may be asked to carry out other administrative and office duties
