We are looking for Qualified Bus Drivers to join our team in Bridport!

Going out on the open road as a bus driver, you’ll work on your own initiative and take ownership of your bus on its travels, looking after passenger safety and providing a great customer experience. You’ll drive different routes, issue tickets and drop people off at their destinations.

Key Points
  • If you join us as a qualified PCV driver with full DQC card (CPC) then you’ll receive a joining Bonus £3000!! (£2000 after successful completion of the required 6 months’ probation period and £1000 after successfully completing 52 weeks unbroken employment within business)
  • You will earn £12.00 per hour
  • Your working hours will be between 39 and 48 hours a week. (39 Hours guaranteed minimum)
  • This is a permanent contract.
Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a good communicator and gets on well with people. You must be patient, a safe driver, reliable and calm under pressure. Happy to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends, you must hold a full PCV licence (with no more than 6 points on your driving licence).

Training & Qualifications

Full training will be provided and paid for which includes;
  • Training to gain your DQC card (CPC / if required)
  • Vehicle and route familiarisation
  • Ticket machine and ticket type training
  • Any training required that is associated with the carrying out of the role.
