What will you be doing?Key Responsibilities IncludeReporting to the Facilities, Health & Safety Manager, you will be operating within The West Group Limited buildings in Waterlooville and following group processes and procedures.
  • Provide support to general buildings/site maintenance and cleaning as directed
  • Assist Refurbishments Supervisor and Skilled Labourer in renovations as required, including:
    • Building and demolition
    • Fabrication and decoration
    • Groundworks
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical support
  • General internal cleaning of buildings when Facilities Assistant is on leave
  • General weekly maintenance including tasks such as clearing of outside areas, drains (sweep, power wash etc.) and maintenance of all external green areas by way of strimming, clipping and weeding, as required
  • Other general maintenance tasks to include but not limited to:
    • General painting and decorating
    • General plumbing and carpentry work
    • Assemble, fix & repair of furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Support Facilities, Health & Safety Manager with ensuring maintenance purchases and supplier costs are of good value for money
  • Accurate and timely recording of time and costs, management of time and costs to budget.
