Maintenance Engineer - DAYS & NIGHTS

Salary up to £40,000 +OT in addition

Location: Cross Hands

We are currently recruiting for a massive FMCG manufacturer based in the Cross Hands area, who are looking for a Electrical or Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer. The moment you step onto site it is extremely evident that you are working for a good manufacturing company with high engineering standards. My client is operating with the highest of standards, which has allowed them to run with minimal margins of waste; which is in line with the business’ goals to operate in an environmentally sound manner. My client’s specialist facility in Cross Hands is one site from their ever expanding manufacturing operation and has allowed the business to grow year on year. At their flag ship site my client has just invested into new machinery, specialists training and infrastructure. My client is looking for a electrical or mechanical bias maintenance engineer to join their team, which consists of a team of skilled mechanical and electrical engineers.

Skills Acquired To Be a Maintenance Engineer

• The successful Maintenance Engineer must be Electrically Biased or mechanical bias with strong electrical knowledge
• The Maintenance Engineer will need to have an engineering qualification
• The Maintenance Engineer can be from any Industrial, Armed Foces or Manufacturing b/g

Are you a Contracts Manager looking for the opportunity to play an integral part in ensuring the Maintenance of the Kings Official Residences through organising and co-ordinating contractors?

On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to be a part of history as you will be instrumental in the upkeep of the Royal Palaces.

Based in Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, St james Palace and Kensington Palace, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the buildings making sure work is planned and delivered accordingly.

This role would suit an Operations Engineer experienced in managing tender and bid processes. On a day to day basis you will be end-to-end management of a range of works, varying in scope and scale.

This will include: planning; preparation of specifications, schedules of work and simple working drawings; management of the tender process; appointment of consultants and contractors; supervision through to completion and settlement of final accounts.

• Operations Engineer
• Experienced in Supervision of day-to-day M&E maintenance
• Management of statutory compliance and risk management in relation to building services.
• People management and contractor relationship management skills.
• Looking to work in Royal Residences
  

The Role

• To liaise closely with Property Section colleagues to ensure that work is appropriately co-ordinated
• 37.5 hour week (Flexible start / finish times)
