Do you have experience of working in the insurance industry either from a brokerage or an insurer?Our Broker Development Coordinators perform a new role to the business where they help to coordinate our business development activities. They provide support to the Sales & Marketing teams, whilst driving plans and business development activities across their own panel of brokers. They collaborate with colleagues across the business and actively contribute to the achievement of business development goals, and financial objectives.We are currently trailing different patterns of home and office working to determine to optimum working arrangements for the future. During the trial period the classification of this role is Home Fixed. Typically, this has entailed five days per week working from home, with occasional travel to the office as agreed with the line manager per week.Reporting to the Head of Regional Development, your main responsibilities in the role will be to
  • support the sales & marketing team with broker queries by liaising with internal stakeholders
  • coordinate events via outbound communications with an emphasis on maximising attendance. follow up with event attendees to explore opportunities and generate leads for exploration by the sales & marketing team
  • provide support in both the preparation and completion of major broker meetingscollation of reports, data and completion of actions logs
  • manage and drive profitable growth with a panel of brokers who have the potential to significantly increase gross written premium placed with the business
  • support digital migration and help brokers move to electronic trading
  • ensure regional development managers and strategic account managers are kept updated on the status and progress of allocated tasks
