An excellent opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to undertake a brick work apprenticeship with a leading construction contractor with a track record of supporting apprentices to time served status.
The employer is a member of the National House Building Council (NHBC) and the Federation of Master Builders (FMB). Specialising in house construction, commercial developments, landscaping and luxury home building for more than ten years, the company is now one of the leading developers and builders in Yorkshire.
Excellent on the job training will be given on a full range of jobs with the Apprenticeship Qualification being undertaken at Hull College on a day release basis.
The employer is based in Goole and you must be able to either get to sites or Howden Fire Station early in the morning. You will also attend Hull College, based at the Preston Road Hull site, once a week.
The company are involved with new construction and development on projects such as:

At college the training will supplement what is learnt in the work place, including new construction, repair and maintenance.

Things to consider

This is a physical, outdoors job. Its an entry level position learning the job from the ground up and you will expected to ‘serve your time’. You will be expected to undertake some labouring while you develop the skills of a brick worker.
