BREEAM Assessor

Our AJ Top 10 Architectural practice client now requires a BREEAM Assessor to join their team in Bristol and support project teams to deliver sustainable projects within the public sector. Made up of 350 staff across 9 offices, the Practice is formed of Architects, Designers and Specialists working on variety of projects in the public and private sectors to include, civic, commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure and residential. Role & Responsibilities

• Maintaining standard trackers and internal schedules of information
• Liaise with the BRE regarding clients and assessments queries
• Conducting BREEAM assessments with a variety of clients as a qualified BREEAM Assessor
• Conducting Preliminary Assessments, identifying potential issues and giving design advice
• Making recommendations on how to achieve the desired rating in the early stages of projects
• Conducting Interim Design stage assessments, collating and scheduling information, and producing a report using a standard format
• Conduct Final Post Construction review stage assessments to evaluate compliance with the Interim Design and Procurement stag, and produce reports

Required Skills & Experience

• Educated to Degree level in a relevant environmental discipline
• Qualified competent BREEAM UK New Construction assessor
• Qualified BREEAM Refurbishment and Fit Out Assessor
• Qualified BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP)
• Ability to travel to sites UK wide when required
• Experience using BREEAM Projects and other proprietary BREEAM assessment and submission websites/tools e.g. TrackerPlus is desirable
• Experience of carrying out DREAM Assessments is desirable
• Additional environmental assessment qualifications /experience such as HQM, SKA, WELL, Domestic Refurbishment are desirable
• Experience undertaking Post-Occupancy Evaluations using BUS Methodology or similar is desirable
