We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join the Brand & Communication team, based in Witney.

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • Create and distribute content for Courtiers which aligns with key objectives and target audiences
  • Create and distribute content to promote and maximise the key sponsorships Courtiers maintains in National League One Rugby (Rams) & Horse Racing (Twiston-Davies), in order to broaden exposure opportunities for Courtiers and elevate the sponsored brands
  • Help build and maintain strong brand presences through the publication of professionally prepared content, internally and externally in a way that engages target audiences
  • Contribute to ongoing brand growth and success

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Editorial Planning: develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content.
  • Content Production & Publication: Prepare, produce, and publish content working with various teams and video / audio equipment and editing / publishing software (Adobe CC Suite)
  • Audience Research: understand the target audience – their preferences and needs, tailoring content that relates to and strengthens connections with the various audiences Courtiers communicates with
  • SEO and Keywords: incorporate SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines, identifying and using relevant keywords to increase visibility
  • Content Distribution: use website content management tools, social media, email marketing and other channels to reach target audiences effectively. Plan and execute timely publication of content, proposing any new ideas that might improve performance and overall professionalism
  • Brand Guidelines: ensure that all content aligns with the Courtiers brand voice, tone and visual identity, upholding brand consistency across all content
  • Quality Assurance: review and edit content to maintain high quality and accuracy, ensuring all content is error-free and aligns with the Courtiers brand voice
  • Content Performance Analysis: monitor the performance of content through analytics tools, looking at metrics such as engagement, conversion rates and traffic types/volumes to assess the effectiveness of content strategies
  • Adaptation and Iteration: be flexible and adapt to changes in the market, industry or audience preferences, aiming to continuously improve content strategies based on data and feedback
  • Trend Analysis: stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to keep the Courtiers brand content relevant and alive
  • Compliance and Legal: ensure all content strictly meets legal and regulatory requirements including copyright, data privacy and industry-specific regulations (Courtiers has Compliance and Legal Teams to offer support in this area)
  • Crisis Management: be prepared to manage content-related crises or controversies and respond effectively to manage client expectations and protect brand reputation
