We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Executive to join our Marketing & Ecommerce Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to make a real difference and be a part of a successful multinational organisation working with household brand names such as Lay-Z-Spa, whilst working in Devon.

This is a key role to help us to grow our brands by creating & managing our brand content, communications, and campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for a selection of brands within our portfolio, tasked with increasing our brand awareness & authority, enhancing consumer experiences, growing inbound website traffic, and increasing our search engine rankings through content & social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Product Content Creation

  • Plan and develop content that is engaging, relevant, and sharable for all our channels.
  • Manage creation of B2C & B2B product, brand & blog copy in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support the creation of marketing assets, such as trade sales presenters, POS, and instore areas.

Content, Communications & Campaigns Management

  • Act as ‘brand guardian’ ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, tone of voice and consistency across all channels.
  • Plan, develop & execute our content strategy by brand. Work with the wider Marketing and E-Commerce team to manage the brand website content and architecture ensuring content is updated as required.
  • Align content creation with social media content and wider marketing communications.
  • Work with the wider Marketing and E-Commerce team to plan, execute and report on integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Develop relevant partnerships with other brands and organisations.

Social Media Management

  • Develop & execute paid strategies to grow awareness, engagement, and sales via social media & influencers for our brands across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and any other relevant platforms.
  • Manage our social communities and moderators, as well as day-to-day monitoring, managing & moderating of the accounts. It may be necessary to monitor/respond out of office hours.

Reporting

  • Regular reporting of results against KPIs.

General

  • Manage external agency relationships where relevant.

Person Specification

  • Experienced in managing content, campaigns, and social media.
  • Strong creative skills with an understanding and passion for brand and digital marketing.
  • A good eye for photo, video, and design. Strong copywriting, proofreading and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in managing social media brand accounts.
  • Ability to work proactively on your own initiative and as part of the team, with lots of collaboration with other departments, particularly design, photography & videography.
  • Good understanding of SEO & PR.
