A brilliant opportunity to join an ambitious business with a newly created role in the fast-paced Marketing department. The Brand and Communications Manager will set up a new team within the department that will be the strategic communications and content hub of the business. This role reports to the Marketing Director.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver the marketing and communications strategy for the business and our brands in line with our ambitious growth objectives
  • Plan and develop a programme of engaging brand and product launch campaigns with clear objectives and a focus on goal conversion and ROI
  • Be the guardian for all brand and comms activity across the team, ensuring messaging is in line with our brand propositions, with a consistent tone of voice and taking a consultative role with peers and senior stakeholders
  • Manage our brilliant agencies and in house graphic design and content specialists to create market-leading collateral
  • Work with HR on internal communications, ensuring a clear alignment between internal and external comms and messaging
  • Develop the Brand and Communications team, managing four direct reports initially, with a view to bringing in more heads as the team establishes and evolves.

The Candidate

  • Experience in a similar role, with agency background as a benefit
  • Exceptional copy writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to deliver creatively and commercially
  • Proven experience of managing and developing people and teams
  • Excellent organisational skills, with proven capability to manage multiple projects
  • Confidence in managing and influencing peers and other stakeholders, including senior business leaders.
