We’re looking for a product-focused Brand Communications Manager to join us on a short-term contract, up to 6 months, in our Southampton office. In the role you will plan & lead the communication activities for brands within our flooring category, whilst developing an ideal brand message that resonates with the target customer and value proposition of the offer. Due to the short nature of the contract, we’d love to hear from candidates who are available at short notice/immediately.
What’s the job?:
  • Plan the communication activities for brands within our flooring category, using inputs from the products category strategy, the brand growth plan and the marketing activities.
  • Develop an ideal brand message that resonates with the needs of the target audience and the value proposition of the offer.
  • Work collaboratively with the Brand Manager and creative to develop a strong brand image.
  • Communicate the brand promise to customers across every touchpoint.
  • Write product briefs, understanding how customers shop the range and work with internal colleagues to understand any specific product requirements.
  • Create presentations to markets to activate the content and communications.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience working in a product focused brand communication role.
  • Proven capabilities in creating and delivering product communication plans.
  • Ability to transfer complex concepts into simple and intuitive briefs.
  • Have a creative perspective to bring ideas on product positioning and brand content.
  • Excellent relationship building ability as this role works cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple teams.
