Do you have an interest in technology? Would you like to work for growing Firm with an interesting and entrepreneurial client base – including a number of high growth businesses operating with the technology sector? If so then my client has a great opportunity which will offer excellent exposure and development opportunities for the right candidate.

As Bookkeeper within this firm of Chartered Accountants, you will work closely with your portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the following:
  • Day to day Bookkeeping using Xero - including preparing accounts to trial balance
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Providing support on payroll and other compliance issues
  • Dealing with client queries and liaising with other Accountants or Managers as required
To be considered, you will have gained some basic Bookkeeping experience – ideally in an Accountancy firm but candidates from Industry will be considered. Good knowledge of Xero would be highly desirable. The ability to work in a busy environment and communicate effectively with clients is also highly important.
