Here’s a great opportunity to work aboard the Dorset Belle, a well loved and respected passenger boat operating from Bournemouth and Poole. You will work alongside current staff preparing the boat each morning for the days operations, using ropes to tie up and let go along with other duties. This role is specific with the main object of supporting the captain. Serving in our cafe area and checking tickets will normally be carried out by extra staff although you maybe required to assist on the very odd occasion.

Uniform will be provided along with the necessary training with respect to the Dorset Belle, ideally the successful candidate will be in possession of STCW qualifications. With the assistance of our highly skilled skippers, there will be an opportunity to further enhance your skill set which will assist in the process of obtaining a boat master’s license.

The boat is based at Cobbs Quay marina where we start most days, there is ample parking, on occasions the boat will be moored overnight on Poole Quay.
