We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of Biology to join Loughborough Sixth Form College on a part-time, temporary basis. The College is experiencing growth and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.

You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitor the performance of students against their targets and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering A level Biology teaching to Year 12 and have some tutorial responsibilities and will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area.

A relevant degree is essential and applicants must already have a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.

The Sixth Form is a priority department for Loughborough College and we are looking for candidates who will work to build on successful outcomes within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery. We are currently delivering via a blended learning model so you must be confident with digital technologies and remote classrooms.
