Our Global IT Project Technology Solutions are seeking a technical specialist to support our Design teams at Jacobs supporting across EMEA. Working closely with our project teams you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and on-going support of BIM technologies to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role supports a large numbers of users across this region working on hundreds of projects across a broad range of industries.

You will be working across all Jacobs functional lines of business/projects across the region. This role is especially suited to an experienced BIM Manager or co-ordinator who has created technical solutions for a large Engineering Consultancy firm.

This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely and further drive the use of New design technologies, to help support the business collaborate and deliver projects.

This role can be based from any of our key locations including; London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Winnersh or Leeds.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Vast experience of projects and consulting industry experience
  • Engineering Design and Construction industry experience coupled with relevant qualifications
  • Proficient use of BIM technology including file interoperability and information exchange process
  • Expert level experience with Revit & Navisworks
  • Experience in the configuration of BIM standard for a large enterprise, (maintaining standard CAD profiles, CAD Templates, Block Libraries, Content Libraries e.t.c.)
  • Experience in the configuration and interoperability of design software with ProjectWise or BIM 360 will be highly desirable
  • Experience with FME, Dynamo is also highly desirable, ideally you will have an IT/Programming mind set or desire to self-learn this skill in your career
  • Previous BIM role experience highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate and effect changes and improvements
  • Problem solving
