Our clients, based in Waterlooville are seeking a Revit/BIM technician to join their growing team as they take on some interesting large-scale projects. Working on technically complex and challenging projects within the building industry you’ll be involved in project design as well as developing the organisations BIM department.Duties & Responsibilities- Working in both 2D and 3D CAD environments.
  • Using 2D and 3D software including AutoCAD and Revit to integrate product designs into construction plans.
  • Producing accurate BIM, drawings, and schedules in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
  • Work with design teams and project delivery teams to produce Revit models and technical drawings at various project stage.
  • BIM coordination and validation.
  • Attend meetings with customers and clients to co-ordinate BIM project activities and planning.
  • Understand procedures/standards for each project involvement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage timescales against project plans.
  • Supporting other team members with BIM projects.
  • To carry out such additional responsibilities as may be considered necessary by the Management.
    • Required skills & experience:- Experience of building structures and a knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures.
  • Working knowledge of current British Standards
  • Working knowledge of the current BIM ISO 19650
  • Working Knowledge of quality and document management processes
  • Revit and AutoCAD
