Job Description

We work with the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers including BMW, Nissan, Renault, Mitsubishi and Mercedes-Benz to support their customers, as well as some of the UK’s biggest fleets, leasing companies, central Government, Local Authorities and some of the largest commercial organisations in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Bids and Tendering, you will be employed within our busy team of Bid Managers to support our Commercial and Fleet sales teams in the creation of high-quality, compelling proposals that maximise our chance of winning new business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our dynamic team who will enjoy stepping-up in a rapidly evolving environment.

Given the growth in our business, you will also have the unique opportunity to work with our network expansion, home charging and OEM business development teams across the wider bp pulse organisation and support an increasing number of multi-national tenders.

Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Assist with identifying and assessing sales opportunities against pre-defined sales qualification criteria, business knowledge and experience.
  • Work with sales teams to qualify tender opportunities that are aligned with bp pulse business objectives.
  • Develop fit for purpose offers for potential customers from different sectors, eg public sector, commercial, and OEMs based on our full range of products, services and commercial terms.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop winning bid strategies.
  • Engage proposal contributors to define, assign and manage work packages with key business stakeholders.
  • Organise, co-ordinate and manage major bids and tenders through to completion and timely submission.
  • Adhere to the company’s bid process and bid governance requirements.
  • Be responsible for completion of standard company data and questions using boiler plate responses, where this is appropriate.
  • Assist in the maintenance, management and ongoing improvement of bid library and boiler plate content.
  • Participate in ongoing improvements to the bid process, bid library content and other aspects of the bids and tendering function.
