Having successfully disrupted the market with a strong focus and utilisation of technology and data, we are now the UK’s largest estate agent, selling more homes than anyone else in the market.We’re not another estate agency, we’re in the business of transforming an industry, and we won’t stop innovating, we want to make every home move amazing, and this purpose continues to drive us forward.The Role.The business intelligence team works in collaboration with Finance, business & change functions, and the data analyst community to ensure the right information capabilities are available across the organisations. The team are embarking on a transformation journey moving the reporting capability to the Azure cloud. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role to ensure business value is delivered as the people, tech and processes are transitioned to the to-be data platform.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the stakeholders and data products for the letting, mortgages and conveyancing business functions.
  • Aggregating data from multiple sources to improve automated reporting, analytics and operational reporting.
  • Design & build data models to improve self-serve and data access for multiple user types.
  • Building systems and processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Using industry knowledge to help interpret data and improve performance.
  • Developing/maintaining reports and dashboards for several stakeholder types.
  • Sharing findings to internal and external stakeholders through presentations, tele/video conferencing demonstrations and written reports.
  • Learning how to integrate ERP platforms with the ever-growing list of APIs across multiple ecosystems.
What are we looking for in a BI Analyst?
  • Experience delivering BI/MI reporting solutions delivery within an Analyst, Architect or Developer domain with a passion of product management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagements across multiple business functions providing a wide range of information products or services.
  • In-depth understanding of database design, management & governance including SQL and Python.
  • Appreciation of architectural framework such as TOGAF & Zachman
  • Experience of both on-premises and cloud BI deployments.
  • Azure - Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Analysis Services, SQL Server (at least 2).
  • Power BI preferred visualisation tool but not essential.
  • Problem-solving skills and experience in providing innovating data visualisations solutions.
  • Previous experience working with third party data models.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of the various types of performance and process analysis such as SWOT, PESTLE, APQC’s PCF and enterprise analysis.
