The Role: Behaviour Mentor

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our students by offering guidance, encouragement, and understanding to those experiencing behavioural difficulties. You will be a vital member of our team, working in collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents to provide holistic support to our students.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Students: Your primary focus will be to engage with students who face behavioural challenges. By building positive relationships and employing effective strategies, you will help them develop the skills needed to manage their behaviour constructively.

• Assisting within the Exclusion Unit: Our school has a dedicated exclusion unit designed to offer a safe and nurturing environment for students who require additional support. You will work closely with these students, providing guidance and encouragement to help them progress academically and emotionally.

• Monitoring the Campus: Your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure a safe and secure campus environment for all students. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive school culture and promoting respectful behavior throughout the campus.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in mentoring or supporting students with behavioural difficulties is preferred.
