Bartender - Mixologist Job Description
As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of our busy Redwood bar & Lounge where no two days are ever the same. Being in a customer-facing role means being on the show: we want you to look smart and exude confidence, so our guests feel they’re in safe hands
It’s a great role for meeting people, so good communication skills and a genuine interest in guest conversation will help to boost your job satisfaction
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
§ Implement the consistent delivery of superior customer service
§ Ensure that the department creates a professional impression to customers and team members
§ Welcome and greet our guests and provide excellent guest service by understanding the needs of the guest and acting on these needs promptly, effectively and with confidence
§ Work within the team on duty to ensure that all company standards are met. Your responsibility is to ensure that each guest has a problem-free visit without any issues so they can relax and enjoy their time with us
§ Responsibility must be taken for any problems or queries that arise during your shift, to either resolve them yourself or seek assistance from the Manager on duty
§ Go out of your way to help our customers and colleagues alike
§ Have the ability to work as a team and work in a fast-paced, exciting environment
§ Ensure that the bar and lounge areas are always clean and tidy
§ In both areas, you must ensure that standards of presentation and service are always maintained
§ Whilst serving you will be required to serve, clear and reset the tables depending on the needs of the business, whilst on the bar, you will serve beverages
§ Prepare and serve drinks to our high standards and highlight promotions to guests
§ Set up your bar – stock up on all the supplies you’ll need, manage your inventory and make sure all your equipment works
§ Receive and stock weekly deliveries.
§ Look after your bar -keep it clean and tidy and make sure the alcohol is always secure
§ Handle cash and credit transactions
§ Be confident and self-motivated, demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business
§ Be able to communicate well with people of all levels
§ Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
§ Be ready to jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help
§ Always follow our safety procedures
§ You’ll need to be flexible in terms of the hours you work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: From £10.42 per hour
