We are an independent charity of around 250 staff and 100 volunteers across multiple counties and our purpose is to prevent the

causes and reduce the effects of homelessness, family breakdown and exclusion.

We are looking for flexible bank/casual Support Workers who share our vision and purpose, to join our expanding Teignbridge

Community-Based Services Team.
  • Your role will involve providing comprehensive enabling support to households in temporary accommodation.
  • You will work to identify support needs and work with the household to develop a clear written action plan to address areas of
concern.
  • Your aim will be to minimise time spent in temporary accommodation by supporting households to secure alternative
accommodation.
  • You will work in an integrated manner with the Housing Solutions Team to deliver positive outcomes.
  • The Support you offer will be empowering and enable tenants to manage their temporary accommodation placements and their future
homes.

You will be required to travel within your designated area of work, a full driver’s licence and your own transport are essential.

You will be based from the accommodation units within Newton Abbot and Dawlish and surrounding areas.

We offer weekly pay and paid induction training.
