An exciting opportunity has risen for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our team in a busy hospital environment at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), part of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed term contract role until 21st August 2023.This will be a rotational Dietitian post in the Surgical team which forms part of the rotational programme with the Medical team. The post holder will be responsible for a varied caseload that includes general medical, general surgery, frailty and ITU step downs requiring oral or enteral nutrition support. There will also be regular clinics providing support to general adult out-patients. This is a demanding post often needing to manage a complex caseload.The successful candidate will work as part of a team of Dietitians providing a professional Nutrition and Dietetic Service to both inpatients and outpatients referred to the service. The Surgical Team works within the wider Adult Team at the PRUH, which includes Specialist Dietitians for Stroke, Gastro and Critical Care. The candidate will work closely with Dietitians across the Adult team to build their skills and competencies. The post holder will also work alongside Clinical Nurse Specialists and multi-disciplinary members across our organisation.Applicants need to have a valid HCPC Dietitian registration therefore, please only apply if you have this.The post holder will work as part of our team of acute adult dietitians, providing excellent dietetic care to both in- and out-patients. The post holder will be part of a rotational programme within the Medical and Surgical Teams and will be responsible for a varied caseload that includes general medical, general surgery, frailty and ITU step downs. There will also be regular clinics providing support to general adult out-patients.
