Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for a Band 3 Pharmacy Aseptic Services Officer, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Pharmacy Aseptic Services Officer, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service within the pharmacy is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice.

Your main responsibilities as a Pharmacy Aseptic Services Officer:
  • Assist the delivery of an effective and safe Aseptic Service
  • Aseptically dispense cytotoxic products, parenteral nutrition and other injectables
  • Assist in the environmental and physical monitoring of the Boole Aseptic Unit maintaining appropriate records of microbiological cleanliness, pressures, room temperatures and equipment temperatures
  • Carry out reception duties, including handing over medication to delivery drivers
  • Assist in the training and supervision of work of new staff allocated to the team
What we are looking for in a Pharmacy Aseptic Services Officer:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Science Manufacturing Process Operative or equivalent
  • Handling medicines in an Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit, NHS environment, GP surgery or Pharmacy
  • Previous experience of working towards and meeting deadlines
