Bakers & Bakery Assistant, WatchHouse.

WatchHouse is an industry leading group of specialty coffee houses across London, with a flagship house in the heart of the Cotswolds - Bath. At our Production Unit in the heart of Bermondsey we create all of our food items from sauces to Sandwiches.

We are looking for Baker with previous professional baking experience; someone with a passion for sweet and savoury products, a keen eye for detail and someone who can follow recipes to the letter and prides themselves in producing the best quality product possible.

In joining our bakery team, you will be responsible for the bakery set up within the Central Production Unit, the preparation and baking of our WatchHouse retail bakery offering. Products will be baked on a daily basis to be delivered to our houses the following day.

Overview of the Role:

• A passion for producing products to a high quality standard following the clear food specs and recipes set out by the senior food team.

• A thinker and a doer, able to organise yourself and effectively also contribute positively to a growing business.

• Ensuring the bakery is a well utilised and efficient workspace.

• Assisting the Head of Baker, CPU Manager and Development Chef in any ad-hoc duties, training or planning as and when required for the business.

• Oratory skills and your ability to communicate clearly with the senior food team and the rest of the employees at the CPU is key to the success of your role.

Experience: 1 year minimum experience within a bakery setting.

Employment: Full time (40 hours per week over 5 days).

Starting time: Immediate start.

Wage: Up to £13.50 plus a share of tronc (up to £2 per hour).
