Auto Electrician

Workington

£15.05 per hour

38-hour week, plus overtime

GTS has partner up with a prominent player in the transportation industry, operating express, and local services for over 40 years. As an industry leader, this client is committed to maintaining a cutting-edge fleet of vehicles to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

They are rapidly expanding their team and currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Electrician in a similar industry, preferably within the automotive or transportation sector. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical systems of all vehicles are in optimal condition, contributing to the safety, functionality, and performance of their fleet.

Auto Electrician Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical components, including wiring, switches, lighting, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to address complex electrical problems.
