Main duties of the job

Those candidates with the relevant qualifications but require additional training and support to gain clinical experience and equivalency may also apply. If one of these applicants were to be successful they would be employed on Annexe 21. Annex 21 is for those who enter the NHS but still need to develop their knowledge and skills significantly over a period of time which is measured in years to allow full registration to be gained.

If you are successful, we believe that for this post it will take up to 2 years for you to complete the training required and achieve the relevant competencies.

If one of these applicants were to be successful, they would be employed on Annexe 21 for a maximum of 2 years to allow a pathway to gain full registration.

Following advice from Workforce and recruitment, the successful applicant would commence on a salary which equates to 70% of the top of a band 4. If all training elements and equivalency are met within 2 years, they would commence on a band 5 salary.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
