Are you looking for some fantastic all-round publishing experience? One of the world-leading publishers of audio-books and digital media is looking for a hard-working and adaptable Publishing Assistant to join their small team in Newbury.

The Varied List Of Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Managing the external studios located in various countries around the world - mainly UK and USA
  • Liaising with publishers, agents, authors and coordinating the hiring of narrators and studios to complete audio recordings by deadline and within budget
  • Having commercial awareness of the publishing industry
  • Meeting deadlines and multitasking
  • Quality control to produce high quality product for digital and physical supply to markets
  • File management, coordination of manuscripts and pre-existing audio assets, data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Actively search for new narrators through contacting agents and casting calls
The role would be well-suited to candidates who have fantastic administration skills, particularly in excel, who is organised and great at relationship building. So if you have a passion for books and a positive, can-do attitude, please do get in touch!
