Grade 6, Scale Point 7 - 11 (£10.41 - £11.27/hr)

37 hours per week, Term time only plus 2 PD days

Required for 1st September 2021

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Access Leader/Attendance Officer to support the Senior Leadership Team and the Trust Attendance Officer. The successful applicant will provide operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies, including 6th Form, to improve excellent attendance and reduce persistent absence. This will involve working closely with our Inclusions Team, Education Welfare Officer and parents/carers to improve their children’s attendance and thereby increase their access to learning.

To be successful in this role you must be an effective communicator and be able to relate well to students and parents/carers, providing the correct balance of challenge and empathy when responding to their concerns. You will possess excellent numeracy, literacy and ICT skills alongside the ability to plan effectively whilst working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to prioritise is essential. An awareness of child protection, confidentiality, health and safety, and data protection is essential.
