We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our successful team. This is a Home Based role with some working from our Harrogate Office.

Role

The company is recruiting a full time, permanent Associate Project Manager to join our growing team. The role will be based at home with some working from our Harrogate office, It will involve travel to sites nationwide to support and monitor works carried out in the field, and which will require overnight attendance in some circumstances.

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Management Team implementing LED and BEMS energy efficiency projects nationally ensuring they are delivered safely on time and to budget Reporting to the Senior Project Management Team.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the smooth running of projects in accordance with the companies procedures, client specifications and industry standards to deadlines, on budget and safely.

The Key Responsibilities For This Role Are
  • Ensuring projects are run in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Management of sub-contractors.
  • Quality control of the work to ensure that it is completed to a high standard.
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets.
  • Communication with senior management, the project team and the office based team with regular updates, consultation and support in safe working.
  • Ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that their needs are met and they are regularly updated on progress.
  • Anticipating and mitigating problems before they arise.
  • Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.
Candidate Requirements
  • Candidates for this role should have practical experience of working on projects under the CDM regulations.
  • You should have experience of project management or commercial electrical works.
  • An understanding of energy efficiency projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Driving license valid for driving in the UK
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and the Office package
Prospective candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a methodical and responsible approach to their duties, and the ability to engage productively with all levels of management.
