Job OverviewThe post holder will be responsible for assisting in the management and care of patients based upon individual needs, under the guidance of the Nurse in Charge and in providing practical support to patients in performing day to day activities, guidance and education.The post holder will also act as a mentor to students and apprentices, and be responsible for supervising unqualified staff. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, patients, carers, clinicians and allied health practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivery services; provide a 24 hour service, 7 days a week.In delivering the post holder duties you are expected to display behaviours that are aligned with the Trust values and as required in accordance with the NHS Constitution at all times.Main duties of the jobAn opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Associate Practitioner on our female acute ward at The Linden Centre.The post holder will have the responsibility in developing their expertise in physical health needs, devising care plans and supporting junior support workers.The Band 4 will be working closely with Registered Nurse and play a big part in the MDT.Working for our organisationEPUT are looking for motivated staff who shares our Trust values of Care, Learn and Empower.
