Hobson Prior are looking for a Associate Director Programming to join a fantastic Biopharm organisation on a permanent basis, located in Maidenhead. Our Client is focused on finding more effective ways to better medicines and vaccines.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities

• In this position you will provide technical expertise both internally and externally.
• Contributing to departmental and cross-departmental initiatives outside of own discipline.
• Negotiates regulatory issues and strategy.
• Communicate concepts effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
• In accordance with internal and industry standards, define, develop, and embed standards and best practices.
• Advancing technical capability across the industry through external discussions of standards and technical concepts.
• Investigate different approaches and communicate their impact to the broader matrix team to assess and improve efficiency.
• Improve efficiency or simplify processes by introducing cutting-edge technology.
• Ensure knowledge can be captured and reused by consistently contributing to solving problems.
• Maintain compliance, quality, and data integrity in your work and teamwork.
• Contribute to the development or revision of internal policies, guidelines, standards, technical compliance documentation, process improvement, and data integrity initiatives.
• Manage audit/inspection questions, implement agreed on CAPAs, and share learning across the department
• Provide review and comments on external draft regulatory or other industry-wide proposals
• Defining, overseeing, and managing outsourced activities, acting as Business Owner and/or Technical Approver when necessary.
• Demonstrate effective communication and influencing skills with key external experts/stakeholders (such as consultants, therapeutic area experts, and regulators)
• Communicate corporate standards and best practices to outsourced partners
• Make significant contributions to program/project milestones as a programming leader and multidisciplinary team member
• Facilitates team members’ knowledge and skill development as a mentor and/or coach
• Providing task and decision-making authority to direct reports/team members, utilizing their time, skills, and potential
• Support development, aligning goals with business needs and plans/creating development opportunities.
• Become familiar with the formal Talent Management and Succession Planning processes within the company.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts or an equivalent degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science is required.
• Expertise in R, Python, and SAS programming languages.
• The ability to work with other clinical data analysis and reporting tools, such as Spotfire, SAS Azure, or S-Plus, is an asset.
• The ability to develop and debug macros in a complex programming environment, as well as execute complex programming activities.
• An understanding of the standard macro development process is required.
• I have a strong understanding of CDISC standards and how they are applied..
• Strong knowledge of Good Practices (GxP), and the requirements of the International Council for Harmonization (ICH)..
• Experience in using Microsoft Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Experience with submission activities and the related documentation associated with them.
