Equans is looking for an Assistant Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

In collaboration with the Compliance Officer, this role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2019 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance

What will you deliver?

Working closely with the Compliance Officer, Retrofit Coordinators, Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Designer ensuring PAS installation paperwork is provided in line with the main contract programme.
Supporting the production of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measure in line with PAS 2030:2019 process.
Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sustainability sector and pass this expertise onto the wider team.
Alongside the Compliance Officer, provide PAS2030 advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures.
To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information.
To ensure all Strategic Partners contractual deadlines are adhered to.
Support the Compliance Officer in their engagement with key supply chain partners assisting in the effective development and delivery of projects

Who are we looking for?

Excellent analytical skills
Ability to review detail quickly and accurately from numerous documents
Ability to liaise with external organisations working to strict deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
A willingness to enhance knowledge and understanding of the Sustainability Sector, and the compliance requirements associated
Literate in MS Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
Full UK Driving licence
