Assistant Social Media Editor, WhoWhatWear

Who What Wear UK is looking to hire a talented Junior Social Media Editor to join its dynamic, fast-paced editorial team. As the Junior Social Media Editor, you will support the Social Media Editor in producing content across all key platforms with the aim to engage, convert and increase Who What Wear UK’s social followings.

What you’ll be doing...

• Collaborate with the editorial team and under the direction of the social media editor to effectively write, source imagery, distribute and monitor content on all social platforms.
• Analyse performance of social content to strategise towards traffic referral and affiliate goals.
• Respond to what’s happening on social channels, providing in-the-moment ideas, as well as creating social-first content to stay ahead of the competitor set.
• Work on tight turnarounds to meet hard deadlines, and uphold timeliness..
• Find creative ways to iterate on successful themes and formulas, as well as pitch and implement new franchise ideas.
• Support in video content production and distribution alongside the video content creator, social editor and editorial team.
• Keep community management top of mind, checking in and responding to our community each day to keep them engaged.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• Must be able to provide self-direction to manage time and prioritise daily tasks using our project management software
• Precise attention to detail, even under pressure
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• CMS/HTML experience highly preferred
• Fashion, beauty, and/or women’s lifestyle content experience preferred
• Team-player attitude with a resourceful, can-do spirit
