Persimmon Homes Cornwall has a vacancy for a Assistant Site Manager with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Construction Director your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):Reporting to the Site Manager your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

Supporting the Site Manager with back of house activities including paperwork, filing of RFI’s
Supporting the Site Manager in the delivery of Toolbox Talks and associated paperwork.
Supporting the Site Manager in the maintenance of site records.
Assisting the Site Manager in running a fully compliant housing development.

The day to day supervision and management of homes construction.
Managing the programme to budget.
Health and Safety.
Achieving high standards of customer care, including quality control.

The Assistant Site Manager’s role involves managing all site operations, working with contractors, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure that high quality work meets the Persimmon standard.

In addition to carrying out inspections and organising all labour and construction materials, you’ll need to liaise closely with customers, sales office and team colleagues to ensure the product is delivered on time.

Qualifications/Experience

The role requires a confident leader with a proven track record in site management, ideally within a house building environment. You’ll possess the knowledge and experience to ensure compliance to build and safety standards.

You must have an up to date CSCS card (black management card), along with current SMSTS. Other qualifications such as BTEC or NVQ 4 in Site Management and a current first aid qualification would be an advantage.

You’ll require a full UK current driving licence.
