Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction project, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising subcontractors, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the design team, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and maintain smooth project coordination.
  • Assist in managing the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and accurate stock management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, site records, and health and safety records.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong safety culture.
  • Support the Site Manager in managing the snagging and handover processes, ensuring homeowner satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in new build housing projects.
  • Sound knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with team members and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in using construction software and MS Office applications.
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant construction qualifications.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
