Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Assistant secretary in the Member relations team.


The role:
You will be responsible for several Health Boards across the area, facilitating the local negotiating committees ensuring our members receive the best possible advice on collective issues. You will also provide individual case representation on complex issues.



What you need:
You should have relevant previous experience gained in a trade union or HR role; and have a highly effective knowledge of NHS structures and an understanding of the key issues facing the medical profession locally. You will need to be able to manage a demanding workload and work independently managing your own work diary. Effective presentation skills with strong interpersonal and networking skills are essential requirements.
