Assistant Sales Manager

Vertu Motors has expanded its South West presence after completing an acquisition of 28 dealerships in Devon and Cornwall. We are now looking to develop and grow these businesses in what are first class locations that serve the wider communities

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our team at Bristol Street Motors Peugeot Launceston!

We are offering a Basic salary of £30,000 and an OTE of £45,000 with excellent company benefits!

The key element of this role is to provide support to the sales team. You will be responsible for building and presenting deals to the customer following qualification from the sales team. It is important that you understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations, to ensure accurate information is given.

This role will require you to build rapport with customers quickly and easily and be able to treat customers fairly. We will expect you to monitor finance performance against budget, as well as identify and address shortfalls. You will work closely with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives, logging all activity to monitor performance and measure outcomes.

It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, excellent at relationship building, negotiating skills, posses excellent communication, and have the proven ability to use your own initiative. You will also be required to have a full and valid UK Driving Licence.

It is essential that you have experience in the Motor Industry.
