About The Role

At Practice Plus Group we strive to practice exceptional healthcare every day and we are driven by innovation; proudly delivering through expert colleagues working together as a team. If you are looking to join a team that puts the patient at the heart of everything they do then we want to hear from you. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Practitioner to join our inpatient team.

At our clean, modern and comfortable hospital in Somerset, we specialise in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients, offering high quality treatment in a wider range of specialities.

As an Assistant Practitioner, you will provide support to the Registered Nurses and lead and support the Healthcare Assistants in providing excellent patient care. You will also be expected to undertake investigations as required

About The Candidate

With a recognised Assistant Practitioner qualification, experience gained in an orthopaedic ward would be advantageous but not essential. Key to this role is your ability to work without close supervision, to teach and train junior staff and your willingness to learn and develop in the role.
