J&S Accessories are the UK’s number retailer of motorcycle clothing and accessories, we are a privately owned company with 30 stores Nationwide. We are looking to recruit an experienced retail Assistant Manager for our busy store in Southampton. Your role is to assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the day to day functions of the store and in his absence you will oversee the store. You will ensure that all of our customers receive a shopping experience that is second to none, you will be a hands on Manager leading from the front, planning your day with your staff. Duties include opening and closing the store, ordering, receiving and booking in stock from suppliers and our warehouse, merchandising, liaising with your Area Manager on all aspects of HR and customer issues, staff rota’s, banking, attending alarm call outs and any other duties given to you by the Store Manager.

We work a 5-day week, hours of work are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm Saturday and 10.30am to 4pm Sunday. Bank holidays are 10am to 5pm, we are closed New Years Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

A very competitive salary package is on offer which includes a strong basic plus guaranteed commission (you will receive a percentage of the stores turnover on a monthly basis) and an end of year store achievement bonus, 29- days holiday per holiday year and a company pension scheme.
