We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant, who has either achieved AAT or ACCA certification, or is in the process of doing so.

This is a new role, developed to ensure that the Senior Management Team have information to hand, on time and in full. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to become an established part of the Finance team, with room for growth and further development.

Responsibilities will include:

· Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts.

· Month end checks and system reconciliation.

· Reconciliations, calculating and posting journals, creating reports, investigating errors or discrepancies and identifying corrective action.

· Some Sales and Purchase ledger activity, along with payroll.

· Supporting the Financial Director with Quarterly Forecasting and Budgeting activity.

· P&L understanding and reporting.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is pro-active and is able to analyse data and discuss and explain financial information with non-financial managers. A keen eye for detail is essential.
