About Our ClientI am working with a business in Oakham that are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team, offering a salary up to £32,000 with study support.As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in our mission to go paperless. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the management and analysis of financial data, contributing to informed decision-making, and helping to streamline our financial operations. Your sharp eye for detail and knack for problem-solving will be put to great use as we transition from traditional paper-based processes to advanced digital solutions.Job Description
  • Digital Transformation Champion: Collaborate with our finance team in migrating from paper-based systems to digital platforms. You’ll be at the forefront of implementing and optimising our paperless initiatives.
  • Data Management: Efficiently handle financial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations. Utilise digital tools to organise and maintain financial records securely.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and contribute innovative ideas to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Software Proficiency: Become well-versed in the latest accounting software and tools to provide essential technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with fellow accountants, management, and IT professionals to ensure a smooth transition and to address any challenges that may arise.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in finance or accounting, demonstrating familiarity with financial processes.
