An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable, enthusiastic, motivated person to join our small & dynamic Finance Team to replace a current member of the team who is moving on.

Reporting to the finance manager you will be one of the key contacts for budget holders within AGH Solution therefore will be able to communicate financial information in way that non-financial colleagues can understand.

The ideal candidate will be working towards the AAT qualification or equivalent & have a basic knowledge of accountancy. They will be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft office & possess good written & verbal skills & be methodical with an attention to detail.

The post holder will be required to plan their own workload to ensure monthly and annual deadlines are met, working within the policies and procedures set within the department. Work will be managed and assessed at agreed intervals.

The post holder will provide support to the finance managers and will play a key role in ensuring that the management team receive accurate and timely financial management information, including graphical diagrams & tabular information, to enable informed and timely decision making.

The post is an important link between finance and budget holders on a day to day basis in respect of budgetary control issues, budget monitoring and contribution to the budget planning process. It is a role that involves significant amounts of non-routine, unpredictable tasks which require to be undertaken unsupervised, and often within tight timescales so it is important that the post holder is able to adapt to these work situations.

The role will require knowledge of accounting principles, good IT skills, particularly Microsoft office, and strong communication skills.
