Assistant Head of Faculty - Modern Foreign Languages

Hours of Work:Full time

Salary:MPS/UPS plus TLR1b

Date of Commencement:2023-2024 Academic Year(Ideally September 2023 if possible)

Aston Community Education Trust are a forward thinking and ambitious multi-academy trust, comprising of three secondary academies and nine junior academies across the Rotherham, Sheffield and north Derbyshire areas.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Assistant Head of Faculty to provide professional leadership and management within the MFL faculty, in order to secure high quality teaching, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement of all students. It is essential that the successful candidate can teach French and Spanish to GCSE level. The ability to teach either of these languages at A-Level is desirable but not essential.

Specific areas of responsibility within the faculty will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
