Assistant Digital Marketing Manager EMEA-ANZ (Remote)

Location: Remote/Virtual (with occasional office presence possible in Slough). Open for candidates located in the wider London area.

Purpose

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the delivery of the digital marketing program across the EMEA-ANZ region. This role will help set the tone and direction across the digital touchpoints to drive brand/product awareness, further develop and strengthen the customer experience, build and activate first-party data, and ultimately drive sales. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the platforms, the Assistant Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the teams to deliver email, website and digital media initiatives that are fully aligned to SBD brand and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the brand and digital marketing teams to plan, develop and execute consumer acquisition and engagement strategies that are aligned to brand and commercial priorities, both centrally and locally
  • Manage small to medium scale project implementations in the region, working closely will all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Manage day-to-day operations of paid media (PPC) and email (eCRM) platforms across focus brands and regions
  • Co-ordination of stakeholders to enable activation of digital marketing strategies in market
  • Day-to-day support of the key regional leads to enable optimized activations
  • Support website performance optimization and reporting
  • Maintain, grow and activate clean, accurate, stable end user databases
  • Implement communication avenues and ways of connecting with target audiences that is purpose-driven throughout the customer journey and utilizes multiple online touchpoints
  • Assist in the creation of engagement content for brands and content framework development
  • Support in developing governance and principles for digital engagement channels, with specific focus on data legislation compliance
  • Ensure all digital marketing activity is tracked and measurable wherever possible
  • Monitor activity and regularly report results, learnings and recommendations to improve established KPIs
  • Develop and collate insights gained across regions, channels and platforms to support local market optimization
  • Actively monitor industry trends, advancements and competitor activity to ensure SBD are providing exceptional experiences to consumers
  • Partner closely with direct digital, social and brand counterparts to ensure cohesive program support
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to ensure global alignment

Requirements

  • Higher Degree – Marketing or Business, with a focus on digital marketing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience, across relevant digital marketing disciplines
  • Ability to deliver effective campaigns across search and display (that drive customer acquisition, engagement and sales while maintaining brand integrity)
  • Experience in project management across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Advantage: management across international environments
  • Knowledge of email (eCRM) management platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Iterable (Salesforce is an advantage)
  • Experience with leading and executing email marketing campaigns (such as welcome series, triggered, newsletter, promotional, and post-purchase streams)
  • Ability to manage content calendars and campaigns, develop enhanced content and track execution
  • Experience executing and coordinating paid media campaigns across platforms
  • Experience tracking and optimizing paid & organic website performance; knowledge of Google Tag Manager is beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of consumer ratings and reviews platforms (such as Reevoo or Bazaarvoice)
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles
  • Basic to intermediate skills in utilizing Google Analytics tools to develop reports and provide insights
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
  • Knowledge of retailer conversion platforms such as Pricespider and/or direct commerce sites is beneficial
  • Strong English language verbal, written and presentation skills; additional languages advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as needed
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
