Job Description


Overview:

As the Assistant Concessions Manager, your role involves leading teams in retail and hospitality, elevating standards and fostering team competence through coaching and support. You’ll oversee venue operations at CBS Arena, ensuring consistent high-quality service during match days and events. Collaborating with the Head of Concessions, you’ll contribute to achieving financial targets, while also promoting a positive environment and embedding core values. The position offers a competitive salary and good benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent, high-standard service for match days and M&E events.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of exceptional product quality and service.
  • Foster a guest-focused culture within teams through mentoring and coaching.
  • Develop strong client relationships to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve business targets.
  • Play a key role in embedding values and promoting a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Work closely with the management team to maintain high team energy and engagement, emphasizing great food and hospitality.

Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years team management experience
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced in managing large groups of staff to ensure the unit runs smoothly
  • Managing stock and cash handling

Hours of Work:

Working hours are based on working a 24 hour week and in addition, there may be other opportunities to increase working hours in other areas of the business.


Qualifications


Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years team management experience
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced in managing large groups of staff to ensure the unit runs smoothly
  • Managing stock levels
