Situated just 8 miles from Exeter we are a busy members club with 500 members but also see over 2000 visitors through our doors each year. We are looking for someone to work in our small but well-equipped kitchen preparing cooked breakfast, lunches, function events and Sunday lunches. Contracted hours a week will be between 20
  • 24 however there maybe potential for more. Working week will vary and will include some weekends. Experience & Job Duties
  • Chef or part time chef: 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience of Sunday lunch service and function catering
  • Food preparation and production.
  • Assist in developing standard recipes and SOP’s for food preparation, production and presentation.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
  • Recording food temperatures
  • Closing the building at night (on occasion) Additional Duties
