Job Description:

What will you work on?

You will be:

  • Assisting the BM with all marketing brand activations and administration of the Nordic region
  • supporting and managing all brands in the Spin Master portfolio
  • assisting on duties as required to support the distributor and agencies.

How will you create impact?
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate in all marketing activities including (but not limited to) licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research for a select group of brands, and SKU rationalization.
    • Partner with local agencies for key brands and marketing activity.
    • Assist in administering the critical path analysis process, ensuring all timelines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required.
    • Proactively engage with the distribution partner and retailers, ensuring they are updated with the most recent brand details and marketing plans.
    • Develop and execute trade marketing plans with both retailers and distributors.
    • Attend global meetings required for brand while liaising with GBU teams throughout.
    • Support in liaising with and supplying information to licensors (e.g. Warner Bros/Universal/Nickelodeon).
    • Manage marketing approval processes both internally and for our licensors.
    • Develop data and sales trackers to better identify trends and results.
  • Merchandising and instore projects
    • Lead the development and execution of instore and POS packages with multiple stakeholders.
    • Project manage and be close to detail on all merchandising opportunities.
    • Understand retailer requests to better approach briefing stages.
  • Distributor brands within the Spin Master portfolio
    • Supply relevant key information to the distributor throughout the year
    • Work with the GBU teams to better understand products and objectives for each brand.
    • Develop a growth plan with opportunities for relevant brands
  • Online and ecommerce development
    • Work closely with the distributor and retailers to understand better online and ecommerce opportunities.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to both adapt to and mange changing priorities independently in a fast paced environment – ability to do whatever it takes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels globally, internally and externally.
  • Passionate about creative excellence and willing to drive self and others to achieve “magic”.
  • Strong marketing skills – experience in developing and delivering strong marketing plans. Plans that stand out against the competition, are best in class internally and deliver fully on a commercial level.
  • Commercial outlook – appreciating the need for commercially viable plans.
  • Relevant experience of 2+ years of consumer product brand management in a new product-orientated industry, preferably working within toy or entertainment industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines.
  • Degree Educated with marketing/business qualifications (preferably). Marketing qualifications could include Degree, Diploma in Marketing (DipM) or other recognised marketing qualifications from the UK or oversea.
