Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring assets risk management is realised for a range of service providers.

The Industrial Maintenance organisation provides maintenance, calibration, and component manufacture across a broad range of installed assets and hand tools within the Broughton Plant. The assets include mechanical and electrical CNC machinery, conventional production machinery, paint shops and chemical processing plants. These activities are discharged through a combination of internal and contracted out resources.

What you will be doing:
During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include;
  • Conduct formal governance reviews against the risk management process utilising the Active Risk Management process (ARM)
  • Liaise with local CapEx MFT
  • Report and forecast performance with monthly, quarterly and annual structured reporting
  • As a focal point, your activity will require you to lead relations with other Stakeholders Provide a single point of contact for the Industrial Maintenance and internal Programme Value Stream Managers (VSMs) in terms of delivery and escalation
  • Understand and deploy the PQME (Critical Asset Process) assessment which identifies ranking of critical means in terms of Production/Quality/Maintenance/Safety-Environment

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to communicate well with internal customers in writing and verbally.
  • The ability to evaluate technical issues, analyse facts, consult and deliver solutions to internal stakeholders .
  • Experience in working with teams and the ability to work independently.
  • Academic requirements are manufacturing/Production engineering/Risk management
