Responsibilities Of The Asset Manager
  • Oversee a portfolio of mixed commercial buildings and multi-family residential assets, following the terms of the property’s management agreement including
  • Responsible for financial valuations, drafting business plans, providing guidance on budgets and capital improvements
  • Report directly to ownership, CFO, and private investors
  • Oversee on-site Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and sales teams
  • Track occupancy, expenses, cash flow, and capital
  • Visit locations as needed to ensure property performance and maintenance
  • Develop and update valuations on each property within the portfolio
  • Plan/Attend broker open houses/market events
  • Monitor the leasing and marketing of properties
  • Oversee, develop, and maintain vendor relationships
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or related field
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in asset management (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial modeling (Preferred)
  • Experience overseeing and training staff (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop long term strategic relationships with sponsors/developers/brokers
  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to proactively assess risk and opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects
  • Self-motivated and personable
