The Colleges’ Partnership are recruiting a Telecoms Assessor to assess and support learners as they complete their Army apprenticeship.



The post is full time (37 hours per week). Located in Nuneaton, with travel as required to cover Midlands and South with the possibility of some home working to be agreed.



The main responsibilities are:

  • To contribute towards the achievement of the apprenticeship scheme, delivering, and assessing
  • Delivering Functional Skills Training, invigilation, and assessment
  • To assess learner work and feedback on progress towards completion
  • Delivery of training for underpinning knowledge to support completion of units
  • Act as mentor and coach to learners providing information, advice, and guidance as required
  • Identification of safeguarding concerns or additional support required


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Achievement Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent) or willing to work towards
  • Achievement of TAQA (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
  • Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Telecommunications (desirable, not essential)
  • Vendor approved certification such as CCNA, Comptia (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience in Telecommunications
  • Experience with assessment of learners
  • Experience of lesson planning and preparation
